Which NHL players will be the best?

The Anaheim Ducks are trying to build a Stanley Cup-caliber team with two of their best players: center Ryan Getzlaf and center Corey Perry.

They are already set to add two more top-six players in forward Ryan Kesler and defenseman Ryan Keslovic.

They also have a new coach in John Tortorella.

The Ducks, though, are a team with a number of questions.

Anaheim finished in last place in the Pacific Division, two points out of a wild-card spot, last season.

They went 8-28-6 in the regular season and lost their final two games to the Calgary Flames.

That was the only time Anaheim won less than 10 games this season, including the playoffs.

The franchise is in the midst of a rebuilding process, and the Ducks have lost their top three goal scorers in Perry and Kesl, along with their top two forwards in Ryan Keslam and Corey Perry, in free agency.

There is plenty of competition.

The Los Angeles Kings are a rebuilding team that lost four of their last five games.

Anaheim and the Kings have a history of playing tough hockey, especially when the teams play together.

The Kings won six of their first eight games of the season, which included a 4-1 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Anaheim won the next two games by a combined score of 8-1.

The season finale was the first overtime game in Kings history.

It was also the last time the Kings and Ducks met in Anaheim.

But the Ducks were a little better than their season opener.

They led 4-2 at the start of the second period and took a 2-1 lead on Ryan Getzal’s overtime goal with 8:16 left.

The game went to OT, and Getzlave scored his sixth goal of the playoffs to give the Ducks a 4.5-point lead.

But Getzlak scored his fourth goal of Game 5, a breakaway goal with 1:36 remaining, and then the Ducks tied it at 3 with 4:25 left.

That’s when Getzlas second goal with 13:31 remaining, his fifth of the postseason, made it a 3-3 game.

The goal was the Ducks first of the series.

The Sharks won the game 5-4 on an overtime goal by Nick Bonino with 1.3 seconds left.

Bonino made 23 saves.

Perry scored his 11th goal of his career, giving the Ducks their largest lead at 2-0 with 12:31 left in regulation.

That came on a shorthanded power play that Bonino stopped on the first shift.

Perry tied the game at 4 at 3:16 of overtime.

Bono made 25 saves.

The Game 6 winner was Keslik.

He scored on a power play with 1 second left and then assisted on Perry’s tying goal at 8:04 of overtime to give Anaheim a 3.5 game lead.

Bonin made 21 saves.

Anaheim’s top scorer, Perry, scored twice and had six assists in Game 7.

He had 13 points (seven goals, six assists) in six playoff games.

Bonis was the last Ducks player to score in the series-clinching Game 7 win.

Anaheim lost Game 7, 6-3 to the New York Rangers.

The series is tied 1-1 in the NHL standings.

The Rangers beat Anaheim in Game 6, 3-2, in Los Angeles.

In the playoffs, Anaheim had five players with more than 1,000 playoff points.

The Panthers have five players on that list, including two goalies.

That makes the Ducks the only team to have more than one goalie.

Anaheim is the first team to win the Stanley Cup with five different goaltenders.

The Capitals have won four Stanley Cups with six different goaltending combinations.

The Flyers have two goaltenders, one with 1,400 playoff points and the other with 1 and 1.

The Hurricanes have two goalie combinations with one more playoff point than the Ducks.

The Devils have a pair of goaltenders with 1 million points, including goalie Anders Nilsson, who had the most wins with 1-2-3.
